Since the purpose of having a cell phone is to be actually able to talk - who told you such nonsense? The purpose of a cell phone is to look cool, play games, and annoy people at lectures and movies. At least that's my observation :-))))

Well, I have one, too. I use it make sure that my kids are OK. If it doesn't ring, things are fine :-)
