Graph theory before geometry?

I wonder what happens if school kids study graph theory before geometry.

As well as functional programming before imperative.

I am sure this is done fairly often. I wonder what are the results...

(Of course, usually people think that functional programming is, in some sense, more difficult than imperative, but graph theory is, I believe, much simpler than elementary geometry.)
